Default civic problem..

well it was hella raining the other day and i was on my way home from wirk when the road was flooded.. the water was about up to the bottom of my bumper and the only way home was that way so i went through the water and when i got in the middle my car started bogging.. so i turned around to go the other way and my car just started bogging out.. so i pulled to a gas station and popped the hood... my motor was wet and i think water got into the intake... fuck... now my car starts n shit but i think i might have blown a head gasket... car starts holds idle but when i rev it up to about 3 grand the car bogs.. shit how can i tell if i have a blown head.. ne one help..plz..

Oil in your coolant, or coolant in your oil if you have a blown headgasket.

If you hydrolocked your car, there is a good chance stuff is bent. Like rods and other important stuff.

Don't they announce on the news ALL THE TIME not to drive your car through a puddle that you are unsure of?

Personally I'd rather not take the chance and just go around another way (maybe because I'm getting old and don't ake chances anymore) then having my car hydrolock. Cause then you kick yourself for not doing it in the first place after spending $600 on a new motor.

found the problem... i had water in the dizzy.. all gee now..
