problems putting tranny back in help!!!
i have a 94 honda civic with a 2000 ls motor and i changed my clutch and i go to put the tranny back in a start putting everything back together and its just a pain in the butt to get the tranny in and the drivers side drive shaft in. im thinking put the tranny in and then put the shaft in after but theres not enough room to get the shaft in when the tranny is bolted up. does neone know an easy way to put the tranny back in and everything bolted up and together easier along with the driveshafts cause i gave it a try once and it was a pain. im gonna try again tomorrow hopefully someone can help please!!!
You're doing something wrong because it's not hard to get the axle in there with the tranny bolted up. Are you sure that the bracket for the intermediate shaft isn't just hitting something when you're putting the axle in? I'd need more info to give you better directions. When i take my trans out i first take the cv's completely out. It makes it easier. The unbolt the trans and everything away from it, then drop it. If you are trying to install the trans with the cv's still on then it could be pretty hard.
