Default B16A2: Look at these ECM pictures - what am I missing?

Need help! Bought the car used, should I have a connector A, assuming I have an entire 99-00 wiring harness and B16A2 from an 00 Civic Si ? (Yes, the entire car runs fine, no issues at all, just no a/c - which I troubleshooted to be that connector A is missing entirely!)

What is this RED connector - am I just missing some "splice" that goes from this red connector to connector A, perhaps ?

What about this brown connector that goes to nothing ?

How can I read what type of ECM I really do have from this picture?

Unless that ECU is chipped you need to use a P30 ECU for a B16A.

What is meant by a P30 ECU ? The car runs fine... just no a/c and in a 99-00 wiring harness, there's no a/c signals from connector B and connector C. The A/C signals come from connector A, of which....I don't actually have.

See the middle number and letter combo on yours? It says P27. That is a P27 ECU. That's how you identify what ECU your car has.

if he is running the 99-00 harness, than the P2T is the proper ecu

to find the A/C you need a pinout from the harness and the ecu. Is this into an EG chassis or an obd2 equipped vehicle such as a 96-00?

Car is a 98 Civic Hatchback EK. I'm just wondering... do all 99-00 have this connector A hooked up at all? I simply do not have one.... (yet the car runs fine)

your car is obd2a and the 99-00 engine harness you are using is obd2b

I don't see that he significantly rewired every connector as a result... I mean, is that why I don't have a connector A at all ? Is it something that can be purchased. I don't find it on hondaautomotiveparts.com - I just see entire harnesses. Also, I find no cut wires anywhere.

if I remember correctly, the connector A controls cruise control/A/C/and something else...and I believe they are different between obd2a and b
