You have a 98' which is obd2a.
Did yo change any "under the dash wiring"? Edit: It dawned on me that you have a 98' (obd2a)and you plugged in a p2t which is from the 99-00 si (obd2b). If you didnt then you should have run a obd2a p72 gsr ecu. Which is in the 96' -00' gsr's. You should still have 3 Seperate Plugs. Here is some different jumper harnesses. All of them have 3 Plugs. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...ctive%26sa%3DN |
you need to use a 96-98 engine harness instead of the 99-00 one that you have because on the 99-00 the 3rd plug the one your missing is part of the body harness that goes behind the dash . for the B16A2 99-00 you have to either use the 96-98 mod it and repin the ECU for OBD2b or get a jumper harness or swap out the rest of the car harness from the 99-00 car.

you could have just used your stock D series 96-98 harness and gotten a obd2a to obd2b conversion harness from boomslang..then you can run the p2t and everything would work. |
