I just put an obd1 b16a into my 00 civic ex and did the whole obd2 conversion and all, got it running right but its throwing a code for a bad bottom o2 sensor. I replaced it with a universal one that I'm pretty sure is wired up right. The code is still there and I cant figure out why. I have to get this fixed a.s.a.p. cause I need to get emissions done on it so I can get a tag, etc. Anybody have any suggestions?

 

Did you reset the ecu after replacing the sensor? If not then that might be it...

 

To do that I take the positive ternimal off the battery for like 30-45 seconds and then place it back on there correct?

 

the negative for about 10 seconds will do

 

doesnt obd1 look only for 1 o2 sensor..the primary one..

 

So did that fix it? I know this because I left my o2 sensor unplugged and after i plugged it, the code was still there. So I reseted and it was gone... Hope you fixt it
