Default Can an optima yellowtop fit in my civic LX SE 99'?

The battery holder is really small and i doubt it would fit, has anyone ever modifed the battery / car to be able to fit a REGULAR optima (not the really expensive sports car edition(51 i think) of the optima) into my civic? Is this a good buy? My original battery just died (1999-2006, im going to miss it) and i need a replacement and i think the optima deep cycle(yellowtop) is good... Will the default alternator supply the battery? Ideas? Thanks!

I've seen some bad experiences with optima's lately.

I went through two of them (the second was the warrenty replacement) that went bad in about a year. My friend has one that went bad (he's on his second). I'm just rocking a walmart battery now h:

but the good thing about them is you can mount them many ways.

anotherwords, relocated to the trunk

mines mounted sideways in the trunk! "spare tire well"

it holds charge for ever when the car isn't running! I've got the stereo / lights / gauges / ect. all on & leave it for 3-4 hours & the car will still start right up! I love it!
