i have a 96 lx civic i just droped a 97 1.6 in it. it will crank but not start. i have fule to the rail and spark just wont turn over. i think my fule injectors are not coming on. if i spray ether down the intake starts right up. will not having the right O2 sensors couz this? or should it just run crappy with out O2 sensors? dont want to drop the $ if i dont have to thanks

 

injectors are probable clogged..

 

really i just might have to check that it looked good when i put then but who knows thanks

 

mini-me civic, I think you're right. Just clean those injectors and see if that works bro.

 

If the doesn't work, let me get you a site so you can try something else.

 

Here's what I did to check my injectors. I had a friend in the car, I took off the fuel rail and held all the injectors on with 2 hands, as tight as possible, I had him turn on the car, and prime the fuel pump, after there were no leaks, I had him crank the car, then I saw each injector fire the right way, try that, if 1 or 2 injectors is firing weak that is def your problem. Kind of a ghetto way to figure it out, but when you dont have professional equiptment at ur hands you think of things. Let me know how it worked out.

well i tryed it and noting came out of them but i have fule all the way down the rail. would not having O2 sensors make the puter not turn them on? should it start with out them

 

ok i bought new O2 sensor today ( i needed them any way ) and hooked them up then i had 2 ex fule injectors on hand ( how lucky ) switched them with 2 on the car and gas came thought the others so yes i have cloged injectors guss i need new ones now thanks for everything guys u have been a big help i bow to u
