Default Best: b16b or b18c??

I just wanted to know somebody could tell me wich of the b16b or the b18c does the best time on the track???

I have a acura 1.6el (honda civic ex foe usa) and i'm looking for a new engine and I wanted to know wich is the fastest.

b18c. Larger displacement, better torque, more friendly power delivery.

get the K20 motor, you cant beat a six speed civic

Keep in mind the K20 will require alot more modification, not to mention will be up in the $6000-$8000 range unless you do it all yourself. So if that is not an option.... go B18C all the way :thumbup:

Alright. I know the b18c is cheaper than the b16b but wont it cost almost the same to instal it considering the b18 doesn't fit in my car and the b16 does??

And if someone knows how much the swap cost approximately (for both engines) it would really help me.

They both fit inside your car with ease...

In the end the B16B will cost more and will be slower...

Easily take a B18C, more displacement, More Torque, still has plenty of top end. The B16B is a great engine, but it is for the pure fact that it is Type R. IF taht what ur going for "the Awe effect" get it, but if u want something that u can get more HP out of go B18C.
