civic back glass install

Default civic back glass install

i just got a backglass for my civic and was wondering if i could install it myself as the shop said it would be 100 dollars

has anyone done this before and what kind of luck have they had?

i have a 96 civic dx coupe

wel.... how much did you pay for the glass?

i would just feel safer having the pro's do it..... were talking about clean seals here.

It's not so bad just make sure the mating area for the sealant and glass is absolutely clean. It might be easier with two sets of hands as well.

70 bucks for the glass my friend installed the back window on his truck and he said it was easy, all you gottta do is lay a bead of sealer and push the window on, his window doesnt leak thats why i was wondering if a civic would be any different because saving the cash would be nice

the cash saved is not worth it if it leaks and needs to be redone
