i coming up w/ the code knock sensor malfunction and the car won't run very good does it wont' go past 4k rpm is this because knock sensor sends the car into limp mode and do the p28 computers need knock sensor right now i have a obd 2 computer in it but have the p28 sitting in the house all the wires are converted and i have already ran the p28 but put the odb 2 back in it to chip the p28 for uberdata and am going to run the p28 once i buy a chip just don't want to spend money on a knock sensor if i don't need it for the p28 they're 131 at autozone
