Default problem w/engine running after rebuild

ok just got my newly rebuilt engine in i have a turbo .60trim the motor doesn'ti have new pistons this is everything it has
arp head studs
a little thicker head gasket
valve job
new rings/bearings
new gaskets
i have 450cc injectors with a fuel pressure regulator but no fuel pump
the injectors were installed before i spun the bearings but i had an msd box decided to take that out cuz the bearing was beat cuz of pre detonation put the motor in and it started up didn't hook the muffler up did hook up the pipe after the turbo
the car starts runs smoothly but i can't get it past 2,000 rpm and then it dies if i let it run for a little bit i can get it to idle up a little bit then i tried to play w/ the regulator and when i turned it down it didn't even start
if i turned it up all the way it started
so do i need to install the walbro 255lb i have or do i have a vacuum leak
so tommorow i'm going to hook the rest of the exhaust up and see what happens but has anyone had a problem like this the car idled up fine when i had the msd 6al hooked up w/ injectors so thanks for the help in advance

i figured it out i plugged the tps sensor wire into the map sensor wire both have the same clip so if any1 else does a motor you'll know not to mix them up but now have knock sensor code

Yeah I was just thinking about the MAF sensor, those are tricky. Anyways, does the car idle ok at least?

yeah it idles good and it sounds like it will run but it doesn't you can floor it and it wont' go over 4k rpm so i got to see if i plugged in the knock sensor or if it is broke hopefully it ain't a big deal i was readin a haynes book how to figure out the code and the only 3 things that could cause it is a short wire knock sensor is bad or ecu problem so i'll test it out tommorow
on a side note u watch ukraine today seruy
