cold air intake

Default cold air intake

well i just get a cold air intake, and down herein miami its raining a lot ,and im afraid to my engine suck water ,some one tell me to get a bypass valve but im not sure if that works !!!!!!!!!!!please tell me..... what do you ppeople think ????????? should i get it the bypassvalve or go back to shortram intake...???????!!!!!!!!!!

Short ram intake. A cold air isn't worth the 2-3HP that you won't feel while running the risk of hydrolock.

by pass valves do work...but then you have to cut your brand new intake.

IMO. I would simply change to a short ram doing raining times, and during summer times, go to a cold air intake. But once again, IMO.

Short Ram, bypass valves are great and all but I've seen too many of them fail first hand despite how people say they work. No reason to risk it for minimal HP

exactly, its a shame you didnt ask this BEFORE buying that cold air lol could have saved some money
