that wont work in this case, all you can do is drill it out, grind/cut the welded bolt end off and replace with new hardware (hardned steel only)

 

I dont think I can fit a grinder in that little recess its not very wide

 

well where it's verry corroded, i would try drilling first and see how much of the weld still remains holding that to the subframe. i had just a sliver of steel that was holding mine on so i was able to just rip if off with pliers. if that dosn't work than i don't know mang. good luck.

edit: after you drill it and are able to get the lca out, just bring it to a machine shop and they can drill that welded bolt on a drill press with a larger bit or if you have a drill press, DIY

 

the LCA is already out
the nut(which has a piece of the bolt stuck in it) is welded to the subframe

 

A machine shop can take care of it if you cant, check the phone book.

 

I just put socket on mine, and put some ass into it. The welds broke, and the nut was off (with what was left of the bolt)

this method took me a big 45 seconds
if anyone has this problem, the nut is only held on to the sub frame by like 3 small spot welds

 

I broke off my front inner control arm bolt in the nut, now THAT was fun to fix!
