well could be.. maybe they put ther thermostat in backwards.. u should check that out cause thats a common mistake..

you might have air in your system since you did a head gasket and thermostat. and this makes sense because you state that the coolant feels cold to the touch. meaning your probaly touching the top radiator hose. i will find a link for you...since i am to lazy to type https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=234163

to bleed the air all u gots to do is take off ur radiator cap and turn ur car on and let it idle until the thermostat opens and the cooling fan comes on.. unless b series motors have a different bleeding procedure..

wow dude i think u were right i jacked the car up and let it run and now the temp. is staying at 180 on just water and i let it idle for 20mins.... thanks man
