Default Exhaust questions for a GSR swapped EG...

Ok, I have a 93 dx hatch, and a complete obd1 JDM b18c swap. I just bought a bolt on cat back system designed for a stock hatch. My question is this:

What catalytic converter do I need to run so that I can connect the GSR header the stock placed exhaust?

A GSR, stock Civic, or Custom fab?

thanks, colin

PS I havn't gotten my swap yet so I can just measure!

My B16 header bolted onto my stock hatch cat. Should be the same for a B18C.

An exhaust for a stock DX hatch? Won't fit. You'll have to have the exhaust B pipe shortened, so while you're doing the custom stuff you can put whatever cat you want in there.

I recently swapped a USDM B18C1 with B18C1 exhaust header into my 95 Civic coupe (exact same exhaust dimensions as a 93 hatch). The B18C1 catalytic converter when installed left me with a 4.5 inch gap with the cat back exhaust being for the Civic coupe. I ended up having the rear pipe section of the cat lengthened to mate up with the B pipe. Any exhaust shop can do this for $30-50.

are you sure about this, doesn't the coupe have a longer wheelbase than a hatch?
