Default What would I need to datalog?

Right now I'm just using a basemap on my ECU. I've been looking on moates.net at Hondalog and Ostrich. I'm a little confused as to how they work. What I'm looking at doing is getting my A/F ratios from a street tune and then adjusting my A/F ratio accordingly.

I think Hondalog is what I'm looking for but I'm not sure. It seems pretty simple. You get your A/F ratio from that run then make adjustments and reburn the chip?

So then what does Ostrich do? I notice it's a 28pin cip with a ribbon wire attached. So does this basically make it so you can make adjustments on the fly without having to remove the chip for a reburn? Or does the Ostrich 28 pin completely replace your current chip?

From what I understand ostrich is so you can make adjustments on the fly. I'm planning on getting a hondalog myself soon. I suppose you could leave ostrich hooked up but I think you'd have to have your lappy turned on just to drive around.

The ostrich allows for changes to made with out having to reburn the chip. You can leave the ostrich in the car when ever you want, it was designed to have an impressive battary life. You dont need to keep the lap top in the car either. Im sure you do, but if you dont, your gonna need a wideband

I tried to get the one you said you had but I couldn't remember it. But, it's an LM-1.

If anything I could just uce my desktop PC and like write down the ratio at so and so rpm and go back to my computer and change it and try to get it as balanced as possible.
