With the heat 90+ the last couple days I decided it is finally time to install the AC I picked up over the winter. Get tired of changing my shirt once I get to work. I have a 93 hatch and was wondering if anyone has directions how to install this. The car originally had AC but the person I bought it from took it out. So it should be just bolt on I hope. If anyone has directions, pictures, suggestions please let me know. Thanks.

 

Hopefully it was sealed from the atmosphere during storeage. If not, ??

There were install directions on hondaautomotive's (majestic I think) site under the accessories section.

When I did mine (took out of car and installed on mine that originally had no A/C-both 92's) it was pretty straight foward. Besides the still unresolved issue of some pressure switch that should be installed when converting to 134A??? How much of the system was removed?

You will have to get a vac on it it to make sure it's sealed before you fill it. Watch the amount of freon too, I overfilled mine and it would almost stall the car on shifts and stop lights etc.
