i have a jdm d15 head vtec. cant find specs anywhere. destroyed the bottom end of the block.cant find block specs either. but am getting my d16z6 machined and ready to drop. i want a 12 or just under 12 CR. to get the optimum one i want it suggests the d15b7. but i am not sure how an non vtec head gasket will work with a vtec head. the d16z6 gasket gives me a CR higher than what i am looking for, but not much. so which one should i use. does it really matter if it is a vtec gasket or not. cant compare them since both are special order around here, and cant afford to buy both kits so that i can. thanks for the help.
