Me and my buddy where chaging my brake pads todday and he found out that my CV boots on both sides where ripped wide open. Thinking he might be bullsh!ting me I checked and sure enough, ripped wide open, needless to say I have to replace them. I get them done professionally but what am I looking at for repair costs. I'm thinking of having the dealership do it.
Or are they that hard to do? Could I do it myself?
Originally posted by SpeedRacerEX-R I can do them myself, takes 15 minutes and costs $65 a side. Orrrr..... I can take it to Les Schwab, pay $121 a side and wait 2 hours.
$65? A boot kit from NAPA cost me $12. Of course, this is on a Civic...
