i have some 18 inch chrome rims on my 97 honda civic but at times the tires scrub and i need to know how can i reslove this problem.

Theres really nothing you can do, you can cut out the plastic fender liner, but that still wont completely resolve the problem. The only way you can resolve the problem is to get rid of the 18's, crome 18's are not for civics.

you need lower porfile tires... what are you running right now? 40's or 45s?

Completely agree, 17's are pushin it on a civic, even with the lowest profile tire theyre still going to rub. get you some nice lil 16's and call it a day

Sell them. 18's are too big for a civic. They are hard on the motor trying to turn such a big tire and they rub a lot, even if the car isnt lowered. 17's are plenty. Just my .02
