eBay is your best friend in this situation. I built and revised my kit for about 950$ with all brand name parts, and all are brand new except the DSM injectors, rebuilt garrett turbo, and turbo manifold.

you will need alot more stuff besides the turbo kit like injectors, fuel rail, fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump and some kind of good engine and fuel management system. i got my greddy turbo kit for my civiv for about 1800 and still had about 1500 in extra parts

I agree with raiden and omnicient... make a list of all the parts you'll need, and check ebay and the for sale forums... in the space of a couple weeks, you'll probably find everything you'll need for a fraction of what a kit costs.

according to homemadeturbo as long as you keep the boost 6psi or less all you will need is FMU and keep ecu and injectors stock. Any higher PSI then I would have to replace whast you mentioned

homemade turbo is one of my favorite sites but be careful every1 is an amateur there as i am too i boosted my d16y8 and it blew up in 2 weeks only running 5psi but w/a big turbo the reason it happened cuz i had the cheap missing link and i did not retard the timing
puting in the turbo is hard and takes a lot of skill and fabrication but if you don't tune it lk i didn't ur going to kick yourself later and have to spend a lot of money rebuilding the motor

I think homemadeturbo is good for research but a lot of the projects on that site are ghetto rigged to hell.

That's why I would buy a kit. I might got withthe greddy kit for $1500. I thought if you kept it at 5 psi or less you would had to do nothing to the car excpet FMU?
