Default ls rods in d16y8

found this on the internet http://www.d-series.org/forums/showthread.php?t=15600 wondering if any1 had this done and liked it also jw can you put stock pistons on it i heard someone else say you can put the stock pistons from a d16y8 on the ls rod but this site says u can't and have to buy new pistons if i had to buy new pistons i would not want to do this at all jw if any1 did it and liked it thanks

If you don't have free access to machine tools and the knowhow to use them (or a friend with same) don't bother.

I really wish Honda made B18A pattern and ZC pattern blocks with the same rods instead of just the same center-to-center rod length, life would be much simpler.

The D16A1 and D16Y8 rod is virtually identical.
