Default '05 Si engine into '00 Si

I have started a new thread, just to separate the worse and better. I have found a salvaged '05 Si with and easy front damage, car runs and drives. Details about the mileage and whatknot I will find out tomorrow. So is the swap feasible? If I'm going to have just about anything to do the swap. Only I'm a bit skeptic about the tranny b/c it's kind of in the different position. Alright, what can be done here? Thanks.

Because I have an '00 Si shell left and the '05 Si is about 6500 grand but needs to be rebuilt. However, there's an engine which is about 20k mi in it. Why not swap into my shell and sell the ugly hatch with complete interior and airbags? I have decided to keep the Si shell (was recovered 2 days ago) and since the engine was taken build a better car after the summer. I didn't know that the engines are different, I thought well i-VTEC 2 Liter = 200hp. So basically this is not a k20?

Edit: k20a3 is worse than k20a2 why?

Nevermind, found the info - it's basically a base RSX engine.

While I'm at it what about F20C (S2000) engine? Will that sucker fit? An easy swap or not?

I'll have to rebuild it first. Not here of course, away, far away
I'm 19 so this is my last year living my parents and so I will prolly get an apartment near Downtown and with a parking lot or a garage. Hopefully it will be better than just street parking, I want to keep the car, I've been looking so long for one and hard to let it go. Anyways, I will try to do the best I can.

So, the farthest that I can take the engine swap is the k20?
