Default 95 civic headlight problems

My headlights are dim. I have to have my brights on so that I can drive comfortably. Its like there working fine because when low beam is on there low and when hi beams are on there high, but ther not even close too as bright as they used to be. I have even changed the bulbs several times. has any one else had this problem?

Are they aimed properly?

How about the condition of the wiring?

I had that problem once. It ended up being my alternator dying on me. It took the alternator 3 months to finally die on me

clean the hell outa the plugs & metal contacts, if that doesn't help.. begin diagnosing your charging system.
