Manual window on drivers side problem...
My 91 civic hatchback driver's side door was fine until I had Bestbuy install speakers in the front doors.
Afterward the drivers side window was really hard to roll up and curved inward and hit the rubber window molding causing the window not to roll completely up unless you push the window out while rolling it up.
They of course refused liability unless a mechanic shop could prove it was damaged due to install.
After having 2 different good mechanics take off the panel and weather plastic inside they said the window was on track and couldn't explain what caused or what was the problem. They said nothing looked to be damged. They oiled & greased that track and pushed the window out a little and it rolls up now but still barely hits the window molding still curving slightly inward. It also makes a rattling type noise while rolling it up.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this so my window will again roll up right?

what i would personally do is take it back to Best Buy and tell them the crap of job that they did to your car. im quite sure they guarantee their work...they should not mess u your window by putting a simple speaker!!

But at this point I never wanna deal with those morons again for any amount of money. I'll go elsewhere for audio needs! I know they aren't gonna pay and they're at fault. It was fine til they installed the speakers. My mistake for going to those idiots in the 1st place-live and learn.

Cause a local salvage yard told me they'd take a regulator from a junk car and install it all for 50 including part and labor. I'm not sure if I should trust them unless it's fairly easy to do and hard to mess up-since I've already had bad luck as you can see from my post
