I'd do the same setup as one would hooking up the power supply for an indiglo guage cluster lights kit. Positive behind the fuse to the gauge cluster light fuse, and I plugged my ground into the ground that goes into the dimmer switch. But it can be done many ways. But this way you want the buzzer to be quiet enough to only be heard when the car is off... cus with this method it will be on when the lights are on - even with the car running. What is wrong with the stock buzzer?

Yeah my wife keeps asking me to do this to her car. Its like every time it rains she calls me, "can you come over to ____ and give me a jump?"
yeah I would tap into the parking lights circuit. I've already tapped into it for the remote starter, so its just a matter of finding the door chime. anyone know where that is?

there should be a light under the dash that comes on when you open the door, or there are wires going to the light in the roof and even if the light dosent come on you can still tap into the wires

Look on this page, there is a kit that should be pretty easy wire.
