Default 00 Civic SI Air Conditioning System...

I have one quick question I was hoping someone on here can answer for me. A neighbor of mine has an entire A/C system that he has offered to trade me out for some labor. I have a 96 4Dr DX Civic. Will the 00 SI A/C system work on my car? All the parts are in great condition but the compressor will need to be replaced (it was stolen from his garage). Will any compressor from a 96-00 civic with a/c work or are the SI units different? Any help is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks in advance...

This the one for the 99-00 si.

This is the one for your 96 Dx 4dr. I entered you as the 49 state emssions and 5spd trans.

When you swap a B16 into a 6th gen, you need a different a/c bracket to keep your old compressor. I'm guessing that a B16 compressor won't just bolt up to a D16 block. I don't know if there's a bracket you can use to go the otherway (B16 compressor on D16 block).

edit: Sorry, it looks like this was pointed out in your other thread.
