Default 2003 Honda Civic EX boosted?

What is the maximum amount of boost that a 2003 Civic EX internals can take and still be reliable? Anyone know of anyone that has boosted an EX civic 2001-2005? What are the performance gains?

probably 10psi safely properly tuned with no qualms about reliability, 2g84u was boosting 11psi on his sohc and made like 175-180 to the wheel.

i wouldnt waste your time and money on a stock internal turbo soch just pull your motor sell it and do a swap get about the same or more power anyway and that would be un boosted power.

depending on tuning... he can get some decent numbers of a turbo... there is a dude here in AZ with an EP running a turbo setup. 200+hp, stock internals

There are like 3 of these questions a day.. if you have to ask this simple of a question, you probably wont be able to set up the kit yourself anyways so why bother?
Boost #'s dont mean crap!!! Its all about how much torque/horsepower the engine internals can handle and how long they can handle it. You could run 20 pounds and not make even 250 hp or you could run 10 pounds and make 250+hp, there are so many factors to take into consideration..
