The city of NY uses these for alot of their official vehicles...the ones I've seen are white. I was driving through Hartford a few weeks ago, and they use them for Cabs there

100 ish hp?

decent mileage? easy on the wallet in a company fleet... its not really for every day consumer (20 grand for a civic. ouch), but it has its pros for those companies thats gotta buy buncha commuters for their employees..

PLUS, in CA, (not sure about other states) natural gas powered vehicles are super emission friendly (the 02 Civic GX is SULEV)..

that means you can drive in the carpool lane, even when you're by yourself!!! WOOT

er. yeah.

In georgia, you can get up to a $5000 tax break by using an alternate fuel vehicle for 2 years. Kind of offsets the huge price tag. I'm going to try to talk the gf into getting a 2003 Civic Hybrid.
