so you probably dont take my time to notice that when your lights are on that theres one in the ash tray to help you see your change...... untill it burns out.

so i inspected it and it apears to look similar to those gauge cluster leds......

how do i approach changing it? do i just ask pep boys for the ash tray led and pop it in?

Remove the entire center console that the ashtray is in. The bulb is just on a covered wire that has a blue 'condom' on the bulb. It's the really small bulb (like the other guy said, similar to the gauge cluster bulb). Just pull it off, and place in the new one.

You don't even have to ask them. I think it's the '74' bulb that you could pick up along with the rest of the bulbs that they have. It's a really small bulb, about the size of a match head (without the stick).
