well im doing a mini-me swap and i have both distriburators except my z6 one has no cap, no plastic guard like and no little spring like on the d15b7 one . My quesion is do i need that spring and guard here is the pic if u have no idea what im talking about

its there for a reason, but im not entirely sure why. just order one from majestic honda or go to a junkyard and gank that shit.
