70 bux for a thermostat. wow. im happy wiht mine and it cost 7 bux at a parts store. if an engine is over heating, then it doesnt mean replace parts with something expensive, just fix the prob. if ur overheating after being turbod, buy heat wrap and wrap your downpipe,dp, etc. if ur fan doesnt fit, then buy a slimer fan. the FAL fans are hella nice and so are fluidyne radiators, but in the end, ur just paying for a name, not necessarily quality

For 1 i didn't have an over heating issue when i went turbo just ran alittle hotter, just being preventative,( because you know engine temps are higher no matter what on turbo applications). I even have my downpipe heat wraped. 2 i had a cheap jsrc low temp thermostat 7$ ironically and the giggle pin failed and caused heating problems(you cause your self problems when you buy cheap parts) 3rdly i did have to run a slim line fan and the fal is the best in the industry. 4th yes you are paying for the name(the extra you pay for the name allows for better manufacturing, engineering and testing on vehicle specific applications), which insures name brand products are superior. That is why namebrand products come with warranties and cheap generic products don't, namebrand manufactures are confident thier products will perform, have long lasting durability, and be completely compatable with your application. Lastly, in the end your paying more when buy cheap parts. In the long run they will fail sooner no matter what, then you have to pay for what is damaged when they fail. And from me to you i take pride in my car, so when you take pride in something you don't cheap products on impulse, you save and buy proven high quality parts that will even last longer than OEM parts b/c you want what you take pride in (my car) to last as long as possible. Also before you jump to conclusions like i stated in my previous post daddy's credit card didn't buy these parts my pay checks did, thats the main reason i take pride in my stuff, and buy name brand parts.

the point is, people pay retarded ass prices for things they dont need. paying 70 dollars for a damn thermostat is just plain stupid. and all parts fail. a thermostat made by spoon in comparison to one made by honda or stant will all last the same amount of time. the only difference is that some are made of steel and others are made of stainless steel, and the springs are different. dont sas me, i sell the dam nthings all day and i know what makes them break, secondly, i never said shit about u sucking ur dadys dick for parts, i dont care how u got them. and third. u show me ANY manufacturer that would give longer then a 1yr warranty on a thermostat and i will be very susprised. ur FAL fan, ya, its pretty, but it does the same thin as a 10 or 12 inch slim line fan that pushes just as much air and costs only 60 dollars. cars are bot rocket science. dotn make a part more then what it really is. but, being that JdM Is MaD TyTe, spend ur money on what u want
