Default go with a h22

I put a h22 in my civic and he works great i did a 13.96 first time down the track and a 13.7 after a few runs. it puts out 200hp and 161 tq and its about 2300 for every thing you need. it has a turbo in it now

Ive heard that sometimes the b16 can piss people off, just remember, youve got a awesome base with a b16, or even a b18, but if you are going for ease, the b16 is going to be your best bet.

It came out of a civic, it will go right back in without much modification, other than running 3 little wires, 1 for vtec solenoid, 1 for vtec oil pressure, and 1 for the knock sensor. In terms of ease, it compares to nothing else.

The b18 you have to mix and match some stuff I believe.

The h22 you need to either mix and match axles, and get custom mounts, which both add some expense to it. You also have to butcher your interior to get the cable shifter set up.

I recommend the b16a for your first swap, its a hell of a rewarding engine and youve got a wonderful base to go from.

There is no difference between installing a b16 and installing a b18c.
