just got my turbo and intercooler. my question is should i cut out my grill to show the intercooler or try to hide it as best i can and set it way back behind the grill and stomp on fools not knowing what hit them

 

well thats up to you but i am sure once you rev it they will know if they have any idea about cars

 

I like both looks thats the problem. and i don't rev on people before i race them. i just stomp on people. and by the time i'll shift it will be late for them. unless there faster

 

I say hide it behind the grill. I'm just not into advertising.

 

:werd: dont let people know what you have. it could be a theft issue. thats why im going to spray a very thin coat of black paint on my IC when i boost my teg.

 

if it will fit behind the grill hide it, most people cut it out not to show it off but for it to even fit, if you do have to cut the grill paint the intercooler flat black. that will diguise it as well

 

I'm putting mine behind my grill if it fits. It's been to damn cold out to test. Not to be a sleeper, other enthusiats can spot a fast car easily. There's no fun in street racing or stomping on people anyway. It's all about theft. I don't have any gauges on my pillar, no body kit, no Mad JDM y0!, none of that asthetic bullshit.

 

I'm not concerned about theft where I'm at. I just don't like it when it looks like some one it trying to shove an intercooler in your face. LOOK WHAT I HAVE!! LOOK HERE!! LOOK!! LOOK!! At least that's what I feel like when I see a big ol' intercooler where the grill should be. But I have seen some without the grill that looked nice. I guess it depends alot on the intercooler and how it's installed.
