I own a 99 civic si and i have an aem v2 cold air intake in my car. It's got huge piping, you can get 3.5" or 4". it doesn't sit in your engine, it goes down by your passenger wheel, right above the mud flap and sucks in cool air. It gave me about 15 hp. Very good intake.

If you're dead set on getting an intake just get a generic short ram from eBay and put a K&N cone filter on it.

I don't know why you are laughing. I noticed a huge difference with this intake compared to the stock air filter. Ripped out the black plastic box in there originally and dropped in the v2, very noticible difference.....keep on laughing though...guarantee it's better than a generic short ram.

how do you know you got 15hp? because it says so on the box? :lmao: realistically you gained about 4-5hp.

umm for intake probaly a short ram with an air box so you can still get the cool air and have the short piping for least resistance. best of both worlds in my opinion but it all depends on who you ask.
