wheel bearing... maybe

my car has developed a great amount of road noise from the rear and it is pretty annoying. i have been told its a wheel bearing and someone also told me it is not sold as one its sold as a hole hub. any advice would be appreaciated

its a 92 cx

Chances are that it is indeed, the wheel bearing.

jack up the car and grab the wheel and jerk it around, if it has play in it, then it more then likely has a bad bearing. i work at adavance autopats, ill look tonight and see how much they cost
