Hey guys i know some of you have seen my thread on about dropping in a b-series, but now i'm thinking about just putting on a turbo. My setup is a 97 civic ex w/ a d16y8, and sadly to say the damn car is an auto. I want some opinions on if i should go ahead with the swap or turbo the engine, and maybe some advice about the stupid trans.

 

B series swap then turbo... Do a manual swap.

 

Manual conversion first...



then turbo if you dont have cash for a lot of build up of a B series but you want the power... A turboed D will whip a stock swapped B...


if you do have the cash... B series turbo....
