i have a 95 DX that i'd like to add PW & PL to.

what i'm wondering is, would it be easier/better to buy aftermarket window and lock kits or get some EX/Si doors and swap everything over?

any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I've done that swap before. I don't think that I would have done it if the parts were aftermarket. I'd get the parts from someone parting out their car, or trying to find one complete on ebay. There are people on Craigslist.org that are always selling Civic parts under the Autoparts section. The last ad from one was going for $450. That's high, but it had EVERYTHING, including the switches and door panels.

 

i dont know about power windows but what i did was add a viper car alarm system to the car and at the same time put automatic power locks!
the car had manual locks but it cost me about $400!!

it is alot, but hey what can i do
