Default coilovers

hi just installed coilover sleeves on my stock shocks,(98 civic) but the springs are loose when the car is lifted. (is that the way coilovers are ?)
other thing when i drive through cracks and small bumps on the road they ratle and make sound. i wonder what could be the problem.

2. is it possible to blow the stock shock if i lower the car more than 2" ?

so, you basically bought a part you have no idea how it is suposed to be at times.

Good job, you owe yourself some researching and reading time when making your next purchase.

gues what, a not even a month passed and my stock shocks blew up. it appears my coilovers are some cheap imitation from ebay. i ordered kyb agx adjustable
question is, is it worth to put back the coilovers and kyb agx's, or just install stock springs with new shocks. toronto roads are pretty bad, i guess coilovers are not a way to go here.
