Default bought a new radiator

i bought a new radiator for my civic and i installed it but there are two brass lines that come out on the bottom of the radiator. are they for the air conditioning? if they are i took out my air system. can i just plug then up?

i believe it's to cool the automatic tranny fluid, if so equipped..

I agree, it should be the automatic tranny coolant lines. You dont have to do anything with them. You could plug them but whatever you do, dont damage them.

Yeah. Same things happened to me. If you're 5-speed, there should be no problem. They don't flow with the coolant.

ok so if i put coolant in the new radiator the coolant wont leak out of those lines?

I thought about trying to use this for an oil cooler when i get my turbo.... don't know if it will work though.

I wouldnt use the tranny cooler as an oil cooler. The coolant running through the radiator is far too hot for your oil to cool to any beneficial temperature. Just go with a designated oil cooler.
