I've done this on a 97 LX, but should be the same. Its not that hard. Just unscrew all of the screws. THere are some under thedash, in the glove box, under the center power oulet. If it doesnt easly some off, then you didnt get all of the screws. When putting it back together, remember that the copper screws you dont see, and the black ones you can see. Hope that helps.

just remember that your emergency flasher button and the rear defroster button pops out (not the circle part but the black piece all around it)... i didnt know this and i ended up braking my trim.. =( really sux.. haven't found anywhere to replace it besides paying probably near thousands at the dealer =(

also: i was wondering if that whole center consel deal in a 96-98 could be swapped for a 99-00 kind (i like it better in the 99-00)

thanks
