My 1997 Civic has been running strong for 248,000 miles, but the transmission is going out, fast. I have a tranny from an '89 CRX, both 5 speed, and was wondering if it will bolt up, and if the shift linkages will match. Thanks for the help

it would bolt up to the engine, but it won't work - 97 has hydraulic actuated clutch - 89 has cable actuated clutch
