Default How would I know???????

I am having a kind of a hard time with my 92 civic...
My problem consist of my car not getting maxium speed, spuddering, and loss of power. I was thinking that maybe it may need a tune up I changed the sparks & wires and oil. I don't know how to remove the fuel filter. The thing is that my car has a the orginal hardware on it. The mileage as of right now is 179,589. I was thinking maybe it maybe the timing belt or the fuel injectors. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT?

No, I haven't done the caps and rotors yet. Someone did tell me that it could be the cat but how would I know?

Did I mention when I look around this forum other people has similar problem but no fix. The rpm doesn't go pass 3500 rpms without spuddering up small sloped hills.

If it was a cat it would feel slugish and you would hear it. It would sound like are trying to push through a pipe that was clogged. the only wat to rule it our is disconnect any pipe before the cat and drive it.

Replace your cap and rotor also so you have a full tune-up.

I don't think your timing belt is your problem, but you will need to have it replaced soon. It's due every 90,000.
