heres the old thread i made last year or so. since then i switch out the ballasts for some new ones cuz the mcculloch sucks and one of them burnt out. so far it looks good, never got high beamed! its aim low and has a nice blanket of light. i dont care what ppl say bout it, even its not done right by gettin it retro'd, i still prefer it this way. i like to keep the look of my jdm headlamps without it being hackup with a projector in there. there is bit of glare but like i said, nothing that got high beamed or cops' attention. works great for me.

Where did u pick up the plugs from?? would ebay be a good place.

 

yea ebay has em so does hidplanet as well. the output is really good despite wat ppl might think. d2r bulbs, d2r/d2s plugs, ballasts, and homemade clips sine the stock ones won't fit the new bulbs. u know I think I have an extra set of d2r plugs. ill check wen I get home from work ut I'm pretty sure I have since I got a new set of ballasts that has the plugs already on em.

 

I got a question about wiring and the cut off. I know i wire the hot wire from the ballast to the low beam power, but what do i do with the High beam power wire??? How would u know if u have to make a cut off? and how do u do that???
