Default Avon Tech M550 A/S Tires

I just bought a 2006 Honda Civic LX sedan the Red/Burgandy/Wine color, light brown interior, Leather (After-market ordered) Awesome can't wait, Rear Deck Spoiler, EX 17 inch, 7-spoke, smoke-gray rims, now for the tires honda has, (OE tires), Michelin Pilot Sport A/S I believe that's what they are, but they are running around $200+ a piece, the Avon Tech M550 which has a very good rating too is almost $100 cheaper, I'm looking for Excellant wet-weather handling and very-good to excellant tread-wear....any suggestions?

just look for a tire that has more channels then others for an excellant wet wheather. but then you sacrife dry wheather bc your contact patch wouldnt be that big. more space/grooves in tires equals less hydroplaning but less tread contact for dry. also more channels would be noisier on highways and so forth. for good /long wear...look for a higer rating...somewhere around 350 plus for treadwear.
