Default Cat Back System When Engine Swap

I was wondering. I am planning on getting a B18C1 this summer. When it comes to the Cat back system. Do I get one for my car (92 Civic Hatch) or one for the engine or the engine's car (94-97 Integra GS-R)?

You want the one made for your car. Not the engine. (exhaust wise)

Intake/header ...you want the one made for the engine.

i wondered this myself, since i have an ls/b16 motor in my hatch i wasnt all too sure what cat-back system to pick up so i just decided to have a local shop make my piping, only cost me $60 for 2.5" piping from the cat to the muffler, better than paying like $3-400 for a aftermarket brand.

All I would need then is a downpipe that would connect the headers to my exhaust system.

Civic hatchback and Civic Coupe/Sedan have different lengths. (92-00)

Integra 3 door and Integra 4 door have different lengths.

GSR piping is longer/shorter depending on how you look at it. (LS cat is longer than GSR cat)

So it all depends what chassis you have and which motor you decide to put in with which exhaust manifold/header

In short, they are different.
