Programming multiple keyless remotes for Civic '97
Hi all,
I know this topic has been done to death, but I have a problem that I don't think has been posted here before. The keyless remotes on my '97 Civic LX stopped working, so to reprogram them, I used the instructions here:
http://www.handaaccessories.com/civic98.html
It works for a single remote, but if I try to program more than one remote, the unit only "remembers" the last one I program.
Here's what I'm doing:
* Get in the car and close the doors
* Turn the key to II
* Push and hold the program button on the radio; wait for the locks to cycle.
* With the program button still pressed, push lock and unlock on the first remote a few times, making sure the locks cycle.
* With the program button still pressed, push lock and unlock on the second remote a few times, making sure the locks cycle.
* release the program button and turn the ignition off.
After this, the second remote will work, but the first will not. I've tried programming the remotes in reverse order, and I get the same behaviour, so it's not a problem with the remotes themselves.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Peter

Both remotes are programmed, thanks for the instructions - took me two days to find them - a guy on ebay want $1.88 for his instructions - I was about to pay for them. Thanks for your help Peter!
