Default The 50 dollar project

Alright my first civic. Found my new love sitting on blocks in front of a house with a for sale sign on it for $200. Talked to the guy about what all was wrong with it (besides the fact it didnt have any wheels, bumpers, headlights, or taillights) he told me that he wasnt sure but it used to be his sons car but he would no longer be needing it since he was in jail for drug trafficing and that he would take 50 for it if I could get it off his property. So I gave him the 50 dollars called a friend of mine to tow it to my house and come to find out all it needed was a battery.

So here is what i started out with...
93 Honda Civic EX
Color: Red
1.6 sohc vtec
auto trans (not after i get my hands on it)
from what i can see about 143,000 miles (but bad vss so not sure how accurate)
Everything stock or BROKE

About two weeks later i just so happened to see an old friend and he sure had some good news for me. He had just took off his rims off of his car so he could sell it and for 100 dollars i had some wheels. ( just a set of 17 inch chrome pacers with a few dings here and there, but it will do for now). Just very shortly after that and 150 dollars more, BUMPERS!!! $ 120 more and we have headlights and taillights.

Now its a complete car. Time for a little modifying here and there.
Well when i bought the car it didnt have any exhaust from the manifold back. So i put a DC sports header, high flow cat, and a 2 1/4 inch cat-back
sytem on. And since eventually ill need them and a friend just happened to have them i threw some gauges on. And to give it a little jdm look to it i bought the audio console.

So after all that i have a running car with a few mods and havent even spent over $1500 yet. Well its time to get back to the garage with it.
Wish me luck with it. And if you happen to think of something crazy you wish you could see on a civic let me know i want this to be totally different from every other civics on the road.

Im working on some pics which will be on car domain and ill keep you posted on all the updates.

haha make a push button starter? that would be pretty cool, except for security concerns(not that security in matters in your case).
i orginally thought of doing a project, but i would be afraid of getting stuck in something i didnt know very well. maybe in the summer i will buy a second car and work on it and learn it, but right now im too busy.

The only problem with putting the pushbutton start on is the fact I have remote start on it.
