Default wtf

My whole engine would shake a couple weeks ago when i had the clutch depressed. I replaced the clutch and finally bled the lines today only to find, you guessed it, it's doing the same afdjgking thing. What else could it be??????

The engine would shake when i depressed the clutch and it felt as if something was pushing back on the pedal. It feels as if something is hitting something else.

No it feels like something is hitting something else. The idle doesn't move but the engine shakes hard, not a stalling shake though.

If there is anything that I learned growing up with small block Chevy's is THAT sounds like a Vacuum leak. May have to check all your connections again.

I never thought about that. It happened all of the sudden while I was driving. I was at ~3000rpms when the car bucked and then stalled. It has been like this ever since. Where should I check for a leak?

I know what it sounds like running on 3 cylinders and this is not it. The jerking is much harder and keeps a rhythm.

Man... I don't know. I DO think, however, that you have an opportunity get closer to your motor by looking at it as though "something" isn't where it's supposed to be. ie., spark plug wire, etc. Sounds like your car is trying to suck air threw a straw with a hole on the side. Sucking harder and not achieving enough for it's effort. I'm sure someone here knows where you should start, but I'd try on my own first. Maybe start with connections that you can reach without getting under the car first.

****Edit**** Maybe a motor mount?

Woops forgot to mention it only does it when the clutch is depressed. If the car is in neutral and my foot is off the clutch, the car is perfectly normal. The more I depress the the harder the pedal jumps back and the louder and harder the engine jerks.

Oh... I'd start with anything related to the tranny, then. Sounds isolated. Research what happens when you actually push in the clutch.

I had the tranny off and replaced the clutch and throwout bearing. I read in 2gr84u's thread about his problems with his clutch and crankwalk was an answer. Would this be something that happens all of the sudden or does the crank gradually move?
