P28 with D15B instead of P06?
I hear the correct ECU for a D15B is a P06. What could I expect the P28 I'm going to use, to do differently? 92 Si. Any behavioral problems? I'm looking into a P06 at the moment, but figure I should wait to see how the car behaves.
Thanks!
****EDIT**** On the back of the intake manifold reads P08. I think I got it wrong. P08 ECU instead of P28. Any insight? Sorry for the mistake.

If it's vtec then use the p-28 and you'll be fine, if it's not then use the p06.
The p-28 will throw codes.
I have a p06 if you want...

How much do you want for the P06?
****Edit**** should be P08

the US D15B is a non-VTEC that uses the P06.
the JDM D15B is a VTEC than can use the P28.
a JDM D15B with a USDM P06 may not run properly. There is no VTEC engagement.

I'll PM you the details, but basically using my original P28 from my Si, it cost me $60 to get the ecu socketed and a reflashable chip burned with a stock P08 bin file.
